Enhance, deepen or darken your horse’s natural coat colour with Maximum Effect.

Champion Tails Maximum Effect is a semi-permanent, water-based hair colour developed specifically for horses. Available in three colours — Chestnut, Brown and Black — it allows you to enhance a chestnut coat, deepen brown tones or create a richer, darker finish with Black.

Maximum Effect is designed to gradually wash out and may last for approximately 15 washes.

Please note: Maximum Effect needs sufficient hair to adhere to and should not be used on a freshly clipped horse.

For best results, do not shampoo the horse immediately before application. Shampoo and conditioning ingredients may leave a coating on the hair that can interfere with the colour adhering effectively.

Always perform a small test patch on the inside of the hind leg before applying Maximum Effect more extensively.
